昙石山文化遗址位于福州闽侯。5000年前的昙石山文化以闽江中下游为中心，连接闽台两省，是福建古文化的摇篮，先秦闽族的发源地。

昙石山遗址博物馆占地40多亩，展出1954年以来昙石山遗址八次考古发掘的珍贵文物资料。黄土文化厅，展现了奴隶社会先秦闽族精美的仿铜印纹陶皿和丰富多彩的历史文化；
